civic_resilience is a space for sharing practical, ethical, and non-violent tools, news and stories that help ordinary people strengthen and reflect upon democratic norms and respond effectively to the global rise of authoritarianism and fascism.

This community focuses on:

Civic organizing and participation
Media literacy and counter-disinformation
Technology tools for transparency, coordination, and education
Legal, institutional, and cultural safeguards of democracy
Lessons learned from historical and contemporary democratic backsliding

While discussions may reference events worldwide, there is particular attention to North American contexts, especially developments in the United States, and their implications for Canada and other democratic societies.

This is a knowledge-sharing and coordination space, not a call to violence or harassment. The goal is to equip citizens with facts, frameworks, and lawful strategies to participate constructively, resist the normalization of authoritarian ideas, and support democratic institutions.
