    TL:DW The KitKat theft is nothing new, it’s just the first of these thefts that caught the internet’s attention; luxury food good thefts have been on the rise for a decade. Stealing food is ‘genius’ because there’s less risk to the thieves than trafficking drugs, the profit margin is 100%, and the evidence gets eaten. The grey market (discount stores and websites) is where it is sold. The most likely culprit is the mafia, via fake business fronts.

      Basically, the video shows that the mob is probably the ones behind the heist, and that luxury food items, such as chocolate, have been stolen for years without much notice.
