    For a big rainforest bird they coexist with humans ok. They seem to do well in recently regrown bushland with paths and will explore nearby gardens for food but avoid roads. They used to be very rare but turn up unexpectedly in the suburbs now. This photo is a really striking example. Their mound nests are large and the babies burrow out ready to walk and find food.
