LLMs cannot write interesting stories practically by definition. Too much of what makes a story good stems from subjective experience.
You’ll notice the only storytelling excerpts touted by AI proponents are short and generic, lacking in characterization and dialogue.

And haven’t seen much of that.Great works require a populated writers room. Juniors, seniors, leads. Current writers developing new writers, new writers giving fresh ideas. The writers room doesn’t exist anymore. Juniors are replaced with AI, budgets only allow seniors, no more leads or leads with less experience.
IDK why they would’ve changed that.

Standards of living have also gone up in general so their income and potential customers is much bigger.
