All EV tax credits did was make Musk more money and cause Detroit to follow a similar path of high profit margin EVs.
EVs don’t need incentives, if they were priced like they should be, the fuel savings alone would be a huge incentive over 5 years.
Unfortunately, consumers are dimwits, very few do the 5 year calculations of ownership costs, because if they did, everyone would not be buying trucks.
