      Been a standard argument of theirs for a long time. Eg: the fact that human decisionmaking limited acid rain and ozone depletion is seen as a reason to not need to address any other environmental issues

      Science is built on constant testing and improvement. That conflicts with the rightwing mentality that you should never admit when you’re wrong.
