Series charting the musical and human dramas behind some of the best-known rock and pop groups in history.

This programme looks at some of the best bands to come out of Manchester over the past 20 years. The stories of Buzzcocks, Joy Division, New Order, Happy Mondays and Monaco all feature along with other Manchester institutions such as the Hacienda and Factory Records.
