Found it interesting that for some reason Italians are opposed to “buying more weapons from European countries rather than from outside Europe” and Poland is pro "Buying more weapons from the US "

Not sure about Italy, but Poland is relatively simple: as a front-line country with more historical beef with Russia than a Brazilian cattle farm, their answer to “Who should we buy weapons from?” is “Yes.”
They’re buying from other EU countries, the UK, the US, South Korea and more. They honestly don’t care as long as it increases their readiness for a potential war with Russia.
