Unfortunately even if we removed them the same idiots who put them in those positions would just vote in more of the same and things wouldn’t change much.
I have always wondered what the point of polling someone’s opinion on congress is. I much rather know what the average approval is inside o lt their own district. I dont care what people in Alabama think of a rep from Kansas and no one else should.
Replace yes but with what?
Congress with new congress? No
Congress with ufc ring? YES!
White house with circus? YEEEEEAAHHSHSSS😎
The senate and Congress together could make our bogus presidential elections go from being just polls to having an actual vote that counts.
Instead they are going to allow companies have a vote. Seriously? Companies before actual real citizens?
These generic polls are useless
@Innerworld
Dear Innerworld,
Are you real or AI?
Because all of your posts seem to link to yourself.
If you are real, what is your point doing this?Real. What do you mean link to myself?
@Innerworld
Good to hear, then you are doing something wrong I think.
All of your posts contain a headline (like Astronomers discover etc) accompanied by 2 links, both links go back to the toot in which the 2 links appear. So what is the use of the two links? It does not link to an article or something else.
Looks fine on Summit.
In terms of format, I guess that’s just how Lemmy posts translate to Mastodon. It creates an extra step to get to the article which is linked to the title on the Lemmy post.
I don’t know why it’s displaying to you like I’m quoting myself with a duplicate post. I only made that post once and it was at mander.xyz/c/astronomy. Maybe it has something to do with the IceCubes app you’re using?
Is there another example you can show?
Maybe we can get some insight from #FediTips and #AskFedi.
@Innerworld Also with Ice Cubes I get a double account, one with 7 posts, one with 17 posts.
The links in the 17 post account keeps pointing to itself. The 7 post account gives me this error 👇🏼
@Innerworld
As I understand it @lemmy is not really Mastodon and there are some issues:https://gist.github.com/helloyanis/c201908666b2c6341e05f7e77b2fbca2
@Innerworld The 17 post account is @lemmy.world, the 7 post account is @lemmy.ml
@Innerworld
As far as I can see, all of your posts appear with the double links.
But your reply to me seems fine. I have never seen this, no other toots appear like this.@Innerworld
Here are a few scans of what I see.
I tried the original Mastodon app, it shows the same double links. I also see you appear twice when I search for @Innerworld One with 7 posts, one with 17 posts.
When I use the one with 7 posts the links give me an error.
Strange but I’ll search on.

Any ideas @KentNavalesi?
