    Not everything German is Nazi. The iron cross was used both before and after that regime. Still funny tho.

      Nice! Just a tip- jasminoids like confederate jasmine are poisonous, Jasminum is the edible family used in teas and other infusions. I only mention because I planted the wrong kind.

      I actually thought that was called “Wandering Jem” for like 20 years because the nursery tag I first saw it on was blurred at the end and the brilliant purple color seemed very gem like. And typing this out just now I’m noticing for the first time that gem is not spelled jem and I might be dumb…

    Plenty of other things to call this one!

    (But it’s not a clover, it’s a wood-sorrel. And this one has the bulb-forming habit, which means if you put it somewhere you may never get rid of it.)
