This doesn’t seem to be related to Google’s 25th anniversary discounts (see our other thread) as they’re expected to be live tomorrow not today (I hope so, as it would be extremely disappointing if these were the “discounts”). Here are the new prices I see on the Google Store:

Note that this also means that the Google anniversary discounts will be more interesting, as now the base price fell quite a bit before the discounts. In the case of the Pixel 7a for example, 25% (if it’s the same discount as in Japan) off €458 is not the same as 25% off €509 obviously.EDIT: I was too optimistic, these were the 25th anniversary discounts, see https://lemmy.world/post/4883486.
