centerist term still drives me crazy because I view myself as left of center. its like accepting the reality of climate change and wanting some social safety nets makes you ultra left. I would like taxes and regulation and to not be buying everything on debt. that believe it or not used to be a conservative principle.

I’ve long been conservative right wing… Free Trade, open borders, no airport security. All those are important to me, and I’ve lost. I have no political home. (I often vote third party for lack of anyone even close to me with a chance.)

Dinosaurs fuck off. I don’t wonder if we wouldn’t do better in the polls without a few of them.

    No shit…

It’s like people don’t remember the PUMA movement when I am beat Hillary.

They’re only for party unity when they’re the candidates.

The good news is, they have very few voters besides the “blue no matter who” voters, so we lose absolutely nothing when they threaten or even try to leave the party.

    Fuck em

    Edit:

And for those who think the DNC hasn’t improved, here’s the last chair (appointed by Biden):

Jaime Harrison, the former chair of the Democratic national committee, directed a pointed message at candidates running under the party’s banner while openly criticizing its direction.

“I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination,” Harrison wrote on social media. “Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Focus on building the party you actually support.”

And here’s the current DNC chair (elected by DNC members):

“He’s running to make NYC more affordable for everyone and has captured the nation’s attention with his incredible campaign,” Martin, who was elected by fellow Democrats to his position earlier this year, wrote in a post on X in a thread highlighting downballot Democratic candidates with election coming up soon. “Go vote for Zohran this November!”
