Please limit use of (or refrain altogether from using) space heaters. A typical space heater alone can cost the county from $150 to $300 per year in electricity costs.”

Well stop freezing people to death in their offices. Some people like the temperature at 65, some people are really cold at that temperature.

I’m freezing my ass off at 65f. Skin feels frosted, shaking, goosebump… I can start to feel comfortable around 76f. But I’m most comfortable in low 80s with a slight breeze.

I hate freezing in the summer in my own home or workplace. It seems wrong.

Woah ho ho. So I’m not the only one with an SO that prefers the cold, huh? I too can be found wearing ski pants and a snow jacket in my own home, during July-September

I just got off the phone with the local energy company. I was haranguing them about my bill being basically 25% more expensive that last year.

    They told me that the

    https://www.bpa.gov/

Bonneville Power Administration has increased their rate to the local power company by 25% all at once.

Then I call the BPA and got forwarded to their “public affairs” office … and got a voicemail account.

The government has been captured. And the government has jacked up the energy prices.
