It is stupid for Europe to wait for the US to start peace talks with Putin. Just do it without the US. Stop being so dependent on the US.
Putin doesn’t want peace, so there’s nothing to start. And the Europeans also know that, even if they started talks with Putin, if Trump’s not involved, he’ll swoop in at the last minute and fuck everything up. So there’s no urgency.
This is what Europe should propose to Putin. Russia will withdraw from all land it seized from Ukraine after the 2022 invasion. NATO would be dissolved and replaced with a European alliance. Ukraine and Canada would be permitted to join but not the US. All sanctions against Russia will be lifted. Russia will not be required to pay reparations. If Putin doesn’t accept the proposal, the UK and France would send troops to Ukraine.

Agreed!! But it really will come down to midterms so prepare to volunteer to get good candidates voted in locally, and statewide. Also, to get things done so we can make sure elections are done fairly and safely. We all got to keep contributing with actions and doing together!! We can do this!!
