    I’ve been asked to move before because one of the emergency exit seats was unoccupied.

    I would have thought that the random seat allocation algorithm would choose those seats first.

    Unless someone missed their flight?

      I just looked this up: Airlines charge more for these normally popular seats because they offer more legroom. If no one is willing to pay extra, the seat is given away to fit passengers who can help open the door in an emergency.

    Wellll there’s still a hidden variable (which is hidden in the plan seat list of whatever, that contains who that seat belongs to).

    We haven’t been able to prove such hidden variables present before collapsing the wave function yet.
