I don’t think it would change much, considering decapitation strikes rarely change the material base. JD Vance would carry on as usual. That being said, it would be enormously funny and I would bust out the crab rave.

Honestly I think that is why the sack of shit is spewing this nonsense in the first place, instead of hiding in a bunker somewhere, he doesn’t believe it either but he wants to appear strong and brave and powerful “look at me my life is on the line but I don’t run and hide!” but if it was really he’d be hiding like Hitler in a bunker (and hopefully with the same happy ending)

Edit: I wonder if his ego is so massive that he is in complete denial of the fact that the vast majority of humanity would celebrate his death, even in the US. Though I suppose the Global South actually would have less reason to even care as what does it really matter who is president in a country that is bombing you and would be doing so regardless, they have less reason to get caught up in electorial nonsense “do the bombs dropping on us have a swastika or a rainbow flag painted on them” doesn’t really change the reality of it after all.

Honestly not sure, the US seems to be one of the only countries to think decapitation strikes work. That’s why they do them so much, and Trump might believe it too. Then again, we know he’s hamming up how unreasonable Iran is (they have been incredibly restrained), so you might be right!

They do an enormous amount of projecting, so maybe it is “Great Man Theory” at work, and to acknowledge it doesn’t work would require the admission of being wrong, and might even threaten their world view of Capitalism being “eternal and right! Law of the jungle baby, survival of the fittest!” (with the irony that they aren’t fit, just sitting on a stolen hoard)

I’m sure Iran knows to “never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake”.

What would Iran gain by assassinating the man currently inflicting the most harm to the United States?

Trump also alluded to the role the US had played in the targeted assassinations of the Iranian leadership. “They had leaders. They’re gone. And they had another set of leaders. They’re gone. Now they have another set of leaders. They may be gone,” he said.

The US president noted, “I may be gone, too, because I’m their number one target.” “That’s the way they act,” he added, claiming that he is doing “what’s right for the country”.

So “that’s the way they act”, after describing himself acting that way.

Yep…Trump assassinated their leaders at least twice, after starting the war with them on behalf of the Israelis and despite enormous unpopularity in the US, at great cost to the nation despite an affordability crisis brought on by Trump tariff policies, all the while Israelis assassinating Iranian peace negotiators whenever a deal seems imminent. Then Trump claims they are the scum.

Truly the world has never known a bigger, wetter, oranger dotard.

That’s just his handlers stoking his fear again. Just like they did to get him to start the war.

Look, people really wanted to kill the failed Austrian artist and he ultimately had to do it himself. So I’m not holding my breath.
