Wasn’t even his kid. He just went batshit crazy and beat the shit out of some random kid for no reason.
I was about to say, if it was his kid and he was a judge or whatever in a red state, he could just say the kid was caught listening to secular music and walk with a slap on the wrist. Because that literally happened. The girl knew it was coming and set up a camera and the video, which she published, went viral. Unfortunately a lot of people, including the law in that area, agreed that he had the right to beat his own child and set the rules in their home (e.g. only Christian music or whatever his problem was). I don’t and didn’t agree with that.
But yeah, this kid wasn’t even his, and the kid doesn’t know why the adult thought he was gay. Meaning either, he wasn’t, or he was but he wasn’t trying to show it; either way he’s confused as to why the adult thought he was. Either way, the guy was looking for someone to beat up, and he picked a small target. I can’t help but wish he gets to find out what that’s like, but what I really hope is they get him off the streets before he assaults someone else.
I’ll put down money on that asshole being a repressed pedophile that decided to beat the kid because he can’t go all ancient greece on him, so he made it the kids fault for being gay and “provocative” (by simply existing…).
It’s fucked up, hope the kid is OK…
That’s why universal healthcare and affordable (sometimes mandatory) therapy are the must. Even for bad people. Especially for them.

Don’t need to jail this fucker, just give the kid’s parents 15 minutes alone with him tied up in a room.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could get creative when the punishment. Get the cameras out, tattoo ‘gay shit’ all over his body, cut off some fingers, and curb stomp him and broadcast it.
