    I can’t help but see rows of moutains as I would if I were very high up (on the mount fuji for instance), so looking at the painting gave me some kind of vertigo even though it’s very horizontal… Well done.

      Thanks. I thought of the mountains like you said as I was creating this, but that wasn’t quite my intention. I’m glad you see something that you connect to; sorry about the vertigo. I had the idea of the colored lines overlapping, straight on one side and the overlapping uneven. Different colors with lots of texture, so lots of paint.

      I get the inspiration of some of these from an idea that pops into my mind. Not the image of them, but for the ones I call “Colors” an idea of the lines (or rows), sometimes a particular color, or darker or brighter. Some I have an idea of a pattern or some disjointedness. I actually enjoy looking at them, especially closely, holding up to see how different they can look at different angles and in different light. Bright light from outside is a little different than indoor lighting.
