I’m not so sure what this burrowing owl was hunting, but if you look at the owl’s feet, something else probably had a very bad day.

      A bird’s gotta eat. Someone was just at the wrong place at the wrong time!

      Speaking of which, I did see at least one of my squirrel friends is still alive after the 2 young foxes have spent the last few days stalking my yard. They showed up after I released 4 rescue squirrels, so I hope they didn’t decide to show up just to have a buffet on my old and new friends… 😐
