    I hope my banana attracts some bats when/if it flowers. Not sure if there are any bats that feed on flowers in Northern California though.

      I don’t believe there are any in Northern California, but there is the Mexican long-tongue bat in SoCal.

      You might want to look into bat houses though - there are quite a few species that do live in NorCal although they feed on bugs.

        Oh yeah we have tons of free-tailed bats here in the summer. There are thousands of them that live under bridges and even in abandoned warehouses. Very cool to see them all swarming out.

        We do have the pallid bat here which I think sometimes feeds on nectar.

          Yes, the pallid bat does feed on nectar sometimes! Plus it’s the official state bat of CA, which I think is really cool.
