Man, season 1 of that show was so great. Shame they got canceled and there will never be another one. I heard in the canceled season they were going to have the “cops are the whole reason everyone I love is dead or gone” character become a cop. What a nightmare that would’ve been, huh?
They could have retcon’d it for sure but it was part of Vi’s backstory from the start so it was entirely expected.
Yeah, that’s the stuff they were talking about from the canceled season. Abandoning the story they were telling in order to speedrun taking the character from where they were to where their game counterparts are. It sounds like nonsensical nightmare fuel. Thank goodness it, again, got canceled after that first season.
