If Gosling is Danny Ketch, they could bring in Nic Cage, Gabriel Luna, maybe see if Sam Elliot wants a cameo, and definitely bring back Sacha Baron Cohen as Mephisto. He was the shining moment of Ironheart.

Not true. Not even in the slightest. Unless you are part of the people who don’t believe that just under 70% of Jewish Americans aren’t with the Israeli Genocide, and that includes the Jewish People who have influence in Hollywood. If you are anti-Jew I am not going to agree with you.
Can you point me to a significant act that Hollywood has done since Israel’s genocide (or even since the 1970s) that has turned the needle on the genocide and illegal occupation in the middle east. This time without bringing up being for or anti Jewish (who cares what your religion is, the point is that you shouldn’t be a genocide state).
And before you ask “what could Hollywood do?”. They aren’t some mother and father cottage industry. It’s one of the biggest industries in the world and could (if it wanted to) boycott all exports to Israel to show support against what it is doing. Or deny working partnerships to Israel.
But … I am guessing you’re not going to find those examples. Because they don’t give a fuck about genocide.

Who would even make another Ghost Rider movie? Why on earth would they?
It is the MCU… it isn’t some great artistic endeavor.
It is the movie equivalent of a Big Mac.
Yeah, that’s perfectly clear, but both of the nick cage films were pretty big flops, if I recall correctly. So I can’t quite figure out the logic behind another one—except, of course, for reasons of mismanagement and misjudgement of what the audience might want to see.
In any case, I don’t think the movie will make any money, especially since an A-list Hollywood actor alone is pretty expensive.
Of course, I totally get the Big Mac comparison, but I’m afraid it’s not really appropriate: While a mass-produced product of low quality is to be expected, the Big Mac actually sells—which seems kinda unlikely for a third ghost rider movie…
Wow you are spot on. I looked up the Cage movies on Box Office Mojo and the first one sure did flop and the second one did better but not by much.
I think Cage was having some financial trouble at the time, which is why he starred in just about every movie for a few years. I think that was probably right around the time when at least the first Ghost Ride movie came out. I think Cage just didn’t care about pretty much anything, which added yet another funny dimension to his usual, amusing over-the-top performance. For some roles, that actually works quite well—especially since it’s so meme-worthy.
Anyway, I saw the first ghost rider film: Can’t say I was particularly impressed. If you don’t take the movie seriously at all, it’s actually kind of entertaining because it’s so trashy, tho.
With Gosling, I suppose they’ll take the whole thing very seriously and believe in its potential for a remake, like with Blade Runner, I guess. However, since Ghost Rider isn’t particularly popular even as a Marvel character, I believe this plan is doomed to fail miserably from the start.
I think there are plenty of movies that would be more deserving of a big budget—even within the MCU.

Seems like Marvel really wanted Gosling due to his fanbase. And Gosling approached Marvel with his idea of this movie.
