Reading it closer, I think this is just Netflix renewing its license to stream the shows, not a renewal in the sense of agreeing to make more episodes.
It is wild how this thing just keeps marching on. Happy for the fans.

The last season to air was in 2022, so it’s totally reasonable to think it was done.

The main show isn’t coming back, but some of the spinoffs is still going, and this deal includes streaming those, but not directly making new ones. AMC is making those.
Nice. I’ll watch it if I’m bored and there’s nothing else.
