In the Odyssey(2026) Lupita Nyong’o was cast to play Helen of Troy, who according to the source material was the most beautiful woman in the world. While very attractive, she was miscast because the most beautiful woman in the world is actually my wife.

Don’t compliment OP, they’re just copying and pasting from reddit. I think everything they’ve posted here is someone else’s joke

They claim to not be a bot but the posts are scheduled…so I’m not sure about that

Tbh I don’t mind scraping bots. If the stuff they post is lame I’ll block the bot. Of course original content is better, but lemmy would have a rough time getting by with just its OC.

      Credit would be nice, though.

Most things on the internet are not OC. It would be worse than rough to impose that restriction.

Or at least tagging themselves as a bot so people don’t think it’s OC

Just make every community a mirror of reddit, why not. Every website is just a bucket to dump content from other websites nowadays

I think you miss the point. Whether it is or isn’t tagged won’t affect the post. Your interaction does.

You’re also able to start your own community.

I think you missed the point. This is the homogenization of the internet
