Yes it’s a complete mystery. As the super wealthy get significantly more wealthy by squeezing every dollar out of everyone else, somehow they’re able to afford ridiculous extravagances, like enormous floating mansions that have the carbon footprint of a small town.
Obviously what needs to happen is for the superyachts themselves to start exploding. Preferably with their owners still aboard.
