While Starlink is the fastest low latency satellite internet available, its not the only one. Iridium Certus 700 can do 704kbps download and 352kbps upload with a 390 ms round trip latency. Iridium’s current on-orbit Certus satellites can also do 1.4Mbps and there is consumer gear already in the market compatible, but Iridium has not turned on the service at that speed as a product yet.
The currently Certus 700 may be enough to improve Ukraine’s strikes against the Russia.
I’m kinda okay with this, assuming the policy is to not let ANY country use their satellites for military strikes.
