Nemesis II was released in Japan! Europe and NA wouldn’t get released until 1992 under the titles Nemesis II: The Return of the Hero and Gradius: The Interstellar Assault.

The February 1992 issue of Nintendo Power featured a 6-page walkthrough:

And scored it 14.5/20…

The March 1992 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly gave it an average score of 7/10…

The only shmup on Game Boy I have played is R-Type II, but I always wanted Solar Striker growing up and didn’t even hear about this game until I became interested in the genre.
