Whar do Hattifatteners do?
Nothing. They are completely harmless unless there is a thunderstorm. They will also be quite offended if you mess with their lightning pole or barometer.
It should be underscored that following a lightning storm they are charged and incredibly dangerous to touch. I do not know if they stay charged until getting in contact with something/someone, or if the energy gradually dissipates, so show caution.
