      Don’t even need to install #GOG’s games in some cases:

      unzip (Linux installer).sh and/or innoextract (Windows installer).exe

      (and not familiar with MacOS to comment)

      Then just find the binary/executable file and hope you’re not missing a mandatory library/dependency

      But joke about dependencies aside, some distros can be very moody with GOG’s installers (looking at you, Batocera), so unpacking may be needed in those cases.

      Also good to quickly get needed files, e.g. for emulated games you want to play in your own emulators, and for games with source ports.
