Pretty sure the rest of the world understood this already just by seeing America’s entertainment culture.

Pedophelia in usa is fine if 1) legal money is made off it, or 2) illegal money is made off it.

The same reason American culture is prudish about nudity and sex outside of money culture. Because they use it to make money.
