Regal Horned Lizard. My Yard, Sonoran Desert AZ.

Named for its “crown” of horns, this little today reptile eats almost exclusively ants, eating up to 2500 in a meal.

It may be a king (or queen) with that crown, but its typical kingdom size only stretches about 160 yards (146 meters) on average.

      That is a great and unexpected comparison!

      I got another cool reptile in the queue that is somewhat similar but kinda opposite at the same time. Kinda a potato with a smooth end and a spikey end. Stayed tuned!
