Yeah, who would be so autistic to read dictionaries, encyclopaedias, entire blogs, the bible… or any other thing not meant to be read from start to finish, from start to finish like a normal book? Certainly not me, and surely not anyone else here in the fediverse…
Reading dictionaries and encyclopedias is autism trait?
I ain’t no psychologist, and I’m not officially diagnosed either, but yeah picking up a dictionary or an eighteen tome encyclopaedia (I’m old…) and reading it from the first page to the last as if it were a novel is not very neuronormative. Or so I’ve been told.

I’m confident I’m undiagnosed add/adhd, whichever is the current term. Never really had anything I did fall into the autism side of things.
But yeah, it wasn’t even just a a kid before the internet. If I was bored, grabbing a volume of our encyclopedia was quite pleasant. Same with dictionaries, but those tend to run out of novelty sooner
