I appreciate you, @The_Picard_Maneuver. For your love of TNG and the quality content you put out into the Lemmy verse. Thank you 👍

My grandmother always used to tell me that time becomes shorter the older you become

Personally I feel like this summer was far longer than it needed to be

Summer really isn’t that hot here. It’s like 10°C cooler than it was last year

I had a burn out and had been home recovering for about 4 months from January, and only slowly building back up since May, and have been back fully since late August, so it definitely feels like this. Time passes really quickly and unremarkably when you sit at home doing ‘nothing’.

Yep, I remember reading that novelty makes time feel longer, because your brain doesn’t have to process as much when you’re doing something you’ve done a million times.

Man this hits so hard. Feels like I just got done clearing out snow and doing taxes. Never got the snowblower ready for summer because I’ll ‘so it this weekend’ and now I need to get it ready for this next season.

Eh I’ll never live to see it, I’m worried it’s gonna be 120° F where I live when I’m in my 60’s…

I love when it happens cos I’m in flow mode. Doesn’t last months tho.

No, I love when time passes without me realizing it cos I’m doing something that requires my full attention.
