I disagree with your viewpoint, so I’m gonna do a whataboutism about -your- home country doing a slightly less bad but still bad version of that thing you dislike.
I try not to think in terms of different countries, cause I don’t really know the details ftmp, only my own, so i can only speak on that in more detail, but I do know most of the “bad” is all stemming from one thing, and people are fairly predictable in their actions, especially the psychopaths and people drawn to positions of power. So the root of the problem is pretty straightforward, but the answers are a little harder to come by, at least for me. I end up just bitching about human nature and what I have personally experienced.
I have this gripe with many irl friends “All politicians are bad!” … No, not all and claiming as such won’t fix the problems you’re having with politics.
