Horrible idea. Pro phones sold out instantly. Lots of resellers show up every morning and buy 4 phone per person max, cash! Pro Max models now November shipping.
iPhone 15. Been dying for that USBC. Dynamic Island is what I can’t wait for but I’m going up from a 12 so kinda the whole thing is gonna be amazing lol
I thought this release was going to be the one to push me to upgrade. But I’m holding out for another year.

Same here but with a pro max lol. Going from a base 12 to a 15 pro max is going to be a pretty huge jump for me.
Unfortunately mine won’t be here until next week even though I preordered within 5 minutes of it opening lol.
Got 15 pro and watch 9. Upgrading from an 11 and no watch. Pretty excited
My sister got the pro max in blue and it’s shipped. I did black and it says mid October now 😭
Yep. I ordered the blue pro max and it’s supposedly arriving mid October. I also live in the middle of nowhere, so it was expected… But now hearing someone else is mid October, I’m kinda annoyed.
Same. Oct 9-16. I preordered and couldn’t get into the store until 36 minutes past.
This morning I see local stock but since I’ve got that damn preorder with a trade in and monthly payment set up I probably can’t cancel without messing everything up. Ugh.

Got my 15 Pro in blue. My first iPhone since the XS so I’m pretty damn excited! It’s slightly bigger than my XS but feels lighter so I need to get used to it. Took almost half an hour for iCloud transfer and now my new phone is trying to download the many apps I probably wouldn’t use haha
What’s everyone’s favorite MagSafe accessories? I’m interested in Anker’s 3 in 1 cube but it’s not available here in Australia
EDIT: just put on my ESR case and I already miss the naked iPhone feeling. I’m not brave enough to use it caseless though.
I use the MagSafe wallet, and a two in one MagSafe stand with the phone and watch chargers. I love them.
Which MagSafe stand do you use?

I got it when the first beta for iOS 17 came out so that I could use standby mode and charge my phone and watch at the same time without having cords everywhere.
I’m pretty excited this will be my first Iphone. Going from a pixel 3a, it’s been a trooper and still runs fine, but ready to make the jump. Ordered a pro in white.
Pixels are excellent devices, full respect. Hope you like it here, though
Got it all set up last night and so far really happy with it so far. A few things I need to learn but that will just come with using the iPhone but I’ll get there.

Waiting on UPS. It’s in Seattle right now. Should get tomorrow afternoon. 15 PM 512gb blue.
The braided cable that ships with the phone is a nice touch. Upgraded from 14 pro to 15 pro so as soon as I put it in the case it’s basically the same phone but slightly lighter.
The silent icon next to the time annoys me but you do need some sort of indicator with the switch being removed.
You can turn that icon off if you’d like. Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Show in status bar.
Picked up the 15 Pro Max in blue today. It is…large.
I bought a 15 Pro (not max) and it is also quite large. Came from a pixel 5 with a 6” screen so I didn’t think it would be that much bigger. Starting to understand the appeal of the mini sizes.
I had the 13 mini before lol so this is quite an adjustment.

I’m on a XS max (2018 release). Still going strong. I think this is the last year it will get major upgrades.
I checked it out at a retail store thinking it would change my mind but still not convinced to upgrade. I’m definitely thinking next year will be it. The titanium feels kind of nice in my hand tho.
Your phone will probably last 5-6 yrs if you want it to.

Just replace the battery if it’s annoying.
I’m in desperate need of a new phone, because my current Note 10 is literally falling apart into pieces, and all of my previous phones were decommissioned, because of battery issues after prolonged use. If money comes by, I’ll probably upgrade myself to a 15 Pro
I had issues last Friday with the pre-order and didn’t think to try through the web. So I couldn’t get in my 256GB Pro Max in Natural Titanium pre-order until after 0830 and my delivery date had slipped to Oct 4-9th.
But, I just got an email today saying it shipped and it should be delivered sometime between Sept 26-29th so I’m pumped about that.
Sigh. I’ve got a 14 pro max and there is absolutely no reason to upgrade any time soon, but I want usb c.
I’d hold off. Not like USB-C is going anywhere, it’ll be here waiting a year from now __
Yeah I’ll wait until I dunno 16 or 17. Even that feels too soon with how long iPhones seem to last. Might even wait until some other big change comes along.
I went to the store since I didn’t want to wait until October. I got a 15 pro in black with the base storage. I had a 12 mini previously. I’m still getting used to the size but I’m liking the phone so far.
