The new version completely threw out the 80s game I loved and built a new game from scratch. I know its not exactly OSR but a clone of the OG car wars would be amazing.

But you can still get the original Car Wars and all the supplements from SJG. Pocket Box contains all the original rules, I think they have printed Deluxe sets.
Yes thats true. I have the reprinted deluxe set. But they aren’t developing anymore and the Car Wars Compendium, the all in one mega manual has been big money for a long long time.
In my opinion that particular book needs to be cloned like the D&D Rules Cyclopedia was

I’m honestly surprised that it doesn’t already exist, alot of people have fond memories of Car Wars.
That’s it. I’m doing it. Will it be good? Probobly not. But I’ll make it and I’ll make it free so God willing someone talented can do it better. More to follow
