Hi i was trying to post a comment in a thread on Lemmy.world but everytime it wouldn’t post and a toast popup that said “Language not allowed”. My comment didnt have any course language in it at all. I reworded it and tried again but still the same thing…
I don’t think “Language not allowed” is related to your wording, but to the actual language the post was written.
Was the thread in English or some other language?
Below the text box, on the right where the icons are, there’s a drop down menu in which you can select the language of the post, that thread probably wants you to select a language that matches the one set in the thread.
It was in English and i was responding in English, but ill check for that language selection menu, thanks so much!
Was this from jerboa? I’ve seen that. It has to do with the literal language, like English. Not the content. I think it’s a bug though
Ahh yup forgot i was using jerboa. That makes sense. I was very confused for a little bit lol
