Former President Donald Trump’s love for fast food, especially McDonalds, is a well documented part of his public persona.

In fact, during the 2018-2019 government shutdown – the longest in history – Trump welcomed the championship Clemson football team to the White House with a huge spread of burgers, fries and other treats from the golden arches due to staffing cut backs from the shutdown (which also affected the White House kitchen staff).
