My primary instance is lemmy.world. I get an error that says “not logged in to Lemmy.ml” but why would that even matter? I can do it on Jerboa which is the only other app I’ve used. Any ideas?
I think lemmy.ml has been down often, may be why
We’re putting thoughts into how “everything” feed should work. Would appreciate opinions if people gave any!
It matters because of what you’re selecting as your feed on the home tab is how we determine what instance you want. If you’re wanting to comment you should just subscribe (you have to be anyways) and use your main account feed
You can only interact with the lemmiverse from the instance you’re logged into. This means you need to be at https://lemmy.world/c/<community>@lemmy.ml, not https://lemmy.ml/c/<community>.
I respect that. Is there a way to only show posts federated through world?
Yeah; if you’re on world, you’ll only see posts that have been federated. You can view All (local plus federated), Subscribed (federated posts from all communities you’ve subscribed to) or Local (all posts on world).
I removed ml from the instance list and it now works as expected. Thanks for the help!
