There is no way I could play this. I guess I’ll have to find alternatives or somehow get light speed reflexes.

Edit: Thanks for help. I found a playable tab for the song I am learning.

Ah, they have drunken AIs cranking out tablature now I see.

    Hooray for technology!

Move those notes to different strings and this is a basic minor bar with root on the A string:

    4
    5
    6
    -
    4
    -

Many options here, actually (listed in order of insanity/difficulty):

    • you could simply play that G# on the first fret of the G string.

    • you could change the fingering to bring the notes closer together

    • you could tap that note

    • you could use an artificial harmonic to get that high G# from the first fret

This guy was a master at stuff like this and would have done #2 for sure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQVNLTPHaX0&pp=ygUadGVkIGdyZWVuZSByZWhhcm1vbml6YXRpb24%3D

Should be doable with artificial harmonics – finger fret 1 with the left hand and use the right hand to pinch harmonic at fret 13 while you pluck normally using the rest of your fingers.

Lenny Breau used this sort of technique a bunch, he’s worth checking out if you’re not familiar!

I don’t know how to play it but I will just say that Songster is an amazing app and I am happy I purchased the live long subscription.
