Have you not heard any American military leaders talk lately? It’s almost all brown nosing bullshit, and there’s a lot of leftist nonsense in it too. There are many reasons why morale is low, and the US Military can’t recruit enough, and out-of-touch military leadership is one of those reasons.

I’m honestly not sure what is and isn’t classified, and I’m not going to risk anything for an internet post, but just google around. It’s not hard to find leaks.
I’m pretty sure low morale is because of the pay and the hours, and low recruitment is because a new young generation that grew up during forever war is wise to the shit deal the military is trying to sell them, along with shit like rampant rape and sexual assault.
oh and don’t forget their consistent and very very visible refusal to take any real care of their wounded and poor veterans. it’s not very motivating to grow up KNOWING that if you join the military and get hurt bad enough you’ll likely end up homeless.
