Also, be able to upload multiple pics in the main post would be nice ( If it is possible can anyone tell me how??)
Trust me, people hate when they download something and its in the webm format due to some devices and applications simply refusing to support it.
You can link multiple pictures in the message body, as shown. You can use
![](link-to-image)
to show embedded images in the body of posts and comments. Click “Show source” to see how its done. Most instances will also allow you to upload pictures directly, giving you a link.Multiple pics in a post: Click on the image button while writing the body of your message, it will add some text like this in your message:
![Title](http://link.to.image.imported.webm)
Converting jpg/gif to webm: I think this is a question to ask to instance administrators, or maybe lemmy core development team
[Edit] Fun fact: the image you added for this post is a Jpeg and not a WebM
Was just a suggestion 😝. Anyway, i understand I can add pics in the the body and even the comments ( and I will use this option very well in future). But is there a way to add more pics in the main post box??
No I don’t think so, currently it’s only using a “link” (that can be a picture you just uploaded) and title; then there is the body of your post.
No way to put multiple images as the content of your post
ok tk 👌
I see everything on Lemmy already being converted to webm…?
