Is there an easy way to output the seed value for copy/paste?

It IS visible on hover, but to copy/paste it, I have to: inspect the image in browser dev tools, click to edit the image element, find the seed text, select it, copy. Surely there must be an easier way without having to use the seeder plugin? 🤔

[Feature request] Alternatively, it would be nice if the seed appeared in a field when clicking an image after the image is saved to a gallery (like the prompts do).

Fair point! Just added a new ‘info’ button in the top-left of generated images which shows prompt data including seed, and added seed to the gallery image prompt data too

Jack Napier from Discord discovered that with the randomized seed (seed:::-1), and on the new tooltip at the Generation Frame (not the Gallery), the tooltip doesn’t add the correct seed. Only gives (seed:::-1) and not the actual seed.

On gallery though, it is fine.

Since we’re sorta on the topic - I’m not sure where it got broken, if it was something on perchance itself or something with the gpu farm you’re using, but is it possible to get the prompt and generation information (seed, model, etc) back when saving images? It used to be saved in the EXIF data as a User Comment but that went away mid-August. It was really nice to be able to pull up an image that I wanted to tinker with later and reuse the prompt again.

Yep, I do want to get around to that eventually, but with the new backend I’d need do bit-wrangling on the actual jpeg binary if it’s going to be fast enough to not become a server bottleneck, I think. Maybe there’s an existing library out there that makes it easy to just edit the headers - I did try a full decode/encode but it was way too slow. But in any case this is unfortunately not a very high priority for me right now

This was taken care of beautifully! - especially with the bonus of having the info button available before the image is saved to the gallery. Thanx again @[email protected] !

[Feature request (gallery)] I understand the (necessary) function of the overlay on the gallery images for content filtering purposes - and it works great… however as it is, it makes it impossible to view a gallery image at full size without downloading it or using browser dev tools. I don’t know if it would be possible to add a “View Image” or “Open image in new tab” button? Perhaps having it appear only AFTER accepting the content warning popup? Really fancy would be invoking a lightbox gallery… but that might be overkill.

This button could be optional on the normal image output container div because right-click > open image in new tab is currently possible.

Ah I just typed out a big confused comment, but then tested what you’re saying on Firefox (I use Chrome normally) and I see what you mean - Firefox doesn’t show “open image in new tab” (due to overlay) whereas Chrome’s right-click manages to “see through” the overlay. An alternative here is actually just to click the download button, since it actually just opens the image in a new tab, rather than downloading it. I should probably change the icon…

Hm… Did this behavior change recently? I could have sworn that in the past when clicking the DL button it just dl’d the image (named image.jpeg) to my downloads folder immediately… but maybe I’m misremembering.

The fact that it opens in a new tab is fine, really. Thanx!

On my ai-generated-realistic-portraits I don’t use the built-in randomized seed. I generate the ‘seed’ and input it on the prompt, so that I can get the seed directly. The only downside is that there is no randomize button on the bottom right of the image upon hover, so you need a function to regenerate the seed to be inputted on the prompt while still retaining the current prompt.
