They already have an AI playlist and it’s so incredibly annoying how the AI voice screams at you every few songs like a morning radio DJ blasting out your eardrums. It’s literally unusable in my car.

And 6-12 months after that they’ll have super duper premium ultra for $29. Rinse and repeat. Eventually you won’t even need to listen to the music. Just pay them $99.97 per month and the AI will choose music it thinks you will like, listen to it for you, and email you a report about which artists you liked the most.

Apple Music is lossless and cheaper. And I think so is Deezer.

Spotify lossless has been floating around the internet rumor mill for a while now and stopped right around the time Apple made all their music lossless for free. Spotify is going to have to convince their users to pay for something Apple Music listeners get for free.

Somebody set up a wildlife camera in the Spotify offices and got a marketing exec in their natural habitat.

I was waiting for this for years and gave up. I found Qobuz which is so much better! Check it out, much better playlists and everything is hi-fi.

Imagine not simply shoving ads in the existing tier and jacking up prices while renaming the existing service.
