Hi, I know the dev is very active, which is great. I was wondering if an expected release date was already set to download the app directly on the App Store without having to download Test Flight? Thanks!
I vaguely recall seeing an update last week that mentioned a stretch goal for the end of June or early July but I’m not able to find it at the moment
I found it. June 27 is mentioned half way down the build notes for v0.0.1.53: https://lemmy.ml/post/1412658
Also does anyone know when android version will be released? Github page says it supports Android but I don’t see any apks in the releases
It would be very difficult to give an exact date due to Apple’s submission process. It can take a day, it can take weeks.
It is possible to set a fixed date that you want your app to release but there’s still no guarantee your app will be approved before that date.
Also Memmy isn’t quite ready yet although the dev is making great progress.
Hopefully on the app is submitted it doesn’t sit at the “under review” stage for too long.
Probably a while. Apple has a fairly extensive app review process.
They’re still pushing to 0.0.1 because even bumping to 0.0.2 would have been a whole new review process for TestFlight.
Once they have a solid 1.0 version to release they’ll submit it for review, likely end of this month or sometime early-mid July and submit it for review. Then it could be anywhere from a day or two up to weeks for Apple to review and approve it.
