Here are several UX suggestions regarding the functionality of URLs in posts & comments.
- Enable setting for user to set browser preference:
In-app browser – Open URLs in Memmy’s in-app browser Default browser – Open URLs in device’s default browser Select browser – Open URLs in selected browser (provide user ability to pick from installed browsers)
- Enable a context menu upon long press of a URL in a post body or comment. Options in the context menu include:
Copy – copies URL to clipboard Open – Open in browser, per browser preference Share – Opens Share Sheet & passes it URL
Question:
URLs are currently opened in Memmy’s in-app browser. Do cookies that are set by web pages in the in-app browser persist across Memmy sessions or are they cleared when the app is exited?
