I wish deleting comments also renamed the username to something else. All it does is rename the comment to “Deleted by creator” and leaves my username alone. Example below.

    Yeah I’m not a fan either but it’s the way Lemmy works and as admin for an instance there’s no way to change this option. I think it would be too complicated to make this work accross federated instances. But who knows
