Olivia Chow is now running a city more populous than several provinces. I don’t live there but I think that’s notable.

I agree. I hope she does great and sets an example for every other major city in the country.
It’s a really hopeful sign of things to come … it’s also bitter sweet when you think of what her husband would have influenced and accomplished by now … not to take away from what she is capable of herself - the two of them would have been a powerhouse … if Jack were still with us, we would be in a completely different country arguing about so many different things at this point in time … as it is, she is a breath of fresh air in a world full of political smoke
