because not also was it not even offside, it was not given for an offside, it was given specifically as a foul, the players were told by the referee it was a foul, the signal given by the referee was for a foul, the stadium screen itself said foul
When the ref looked at the VAR there were no lines drawn?
More Scottish salt here than in a Glaswegian chippy
Lmao
They aren’t required to do any signals for offside, that’s the linesman’s job
South France can only win by buying referees
Because the keeper isn’t even attempting a save. You can’t interfere with play if a play isn’t being made.
That’s what they said at the time. Then 15 minutes later they said offside.
So, fucking what was it?
If at the time the referee awards it due to offside interference …then why does he wave for a direct free kick (foul) and not an indirect free kick (offside) ?
I’d be upset if I was Scotland. Not because of incorrect decisions but because the referees made a mess of the call and the procedure.
This ref did not. This ref disallowed the goal for a foul. Why did he do that?
So basically Scotland gets to put all of the blame of the game on the ref for ruling off an illegal goal
But if Rodri complains in the First Leg then he is a crybaby and bad loser
Cool
Firstly I’m Irish, secondly Scotland are better than Wales
I think it was offside. My problem is the ref was called to look for a foul, called for a foul, UEFA said it was a foul and then 10 minutes later UEFA come back and say it was actually offside. That is a complete joke of a performance from the referee and VAR and is not fit for a game of this magnitude. Adding to that I thought the referee was completely woeful for the rest of the game as well which only added to this.
It wasn’t, it is a combination of people a) being very emotional after a major decision b) people not knowing the rules and c) a signal mistake from the ref, even though I am not sure about that since I didn’t see the refs arm after the decision was made.
