A TERRIFYING TALE OF SLUTS AND BOLTS.

A medical school dropout loses his fiancée in a tragic lawnmower incident and decides to bring her back to life. Unfortunately, he was only able to save her head, so he goes to the red light district in the city and lures prostitutes into a hotel room so he can collect body parts to reassemble her.

Frank Henenlotter’s wonderful reimagination of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

Super fun!

Love this movie! Shame Patty Mullen never did much, she’s fantastic… “Wanna date?? 😬”

Basket Case and Brain Damage are both pretty fun to watch from Henenlotter too but Frankenhooker is my favourite!

Yeah, it’s a real shame that Mullen never did much else, especially since she was great in Doom Asylum as well.

Brain Damage is my favourite Henenlotter, but Frankenhooker is close. :)

A friend of mine hyped this movie so much to me that when I finally saw it, I was disappointed. I’ll have to give it a re-watch.

Please do! Who knows, you might like it better on rewatch. That happens to me often. :)

I was also a lot younger. This was maybe 5 years after it came out? I’ll check it out again. Thanks.

I never got around to watching this, but I remember the movie rental joint had the oversize VHS box. It had a little button on the subway light and the box said “wanna date?” when you pushed it.
